Bykova graduated from the Moscow Agricultural Academy in 1955. For many years she studied Bigfoot (naming it Relict Hominoid), and she authored three books on the elusive creature: A Legend for Adults; He Is, Though He Must Not Be; and Not That Frightful Thing.
